Jourdonais for Cpap/Bipap Mask : Resmed Quattro full face mask : Size: Large Sugg.Retail: $169.00 / Sale: $150.00 Rating: I have been using cpap for only a couple of months now, and have tried several masks; Someone at my local medical equipment company recommended this mask to me, as I was having a lot of leakage problems at night due to the fact that I sleep on my side; so I bought one of these and I have to say I am astounded! This company really knows how to build a super comfortable full face mask. I got one of the best nights of sleep ever with this mask on. The things I like about it are: the bridge portion has a dial that seems to be sturdier than the "clips" found on other masks that tend to break. The lower clips lock into place, which makes the headgear stay in place during the night, and although it is plenty roomy, and a really good airflow occurs with this mask, it is streamlined and not bulky. The silicon around the edges, that contact the face are super soft but at the same time rigid enough to seal well, and stay in place. I give this mask 5 stars, and way to go Resmed!

When I found I had ordered the wrong size he immediately exchanged the unopened mask for the correct size and merely charged me for the exact postage. I will be back to buy my next mask from him if he still has them.

Extremely comfortable,though another i tried was slightly better. That one I had a problem with leakage though, as I toss and turn a lot. No problem with The Quattro. I am not going to experiment any more, just too expensive. Be sure you get the right size, or you will not get good results.

Couldn't stand the other types. I tend to get stuffed up, so I mouth breathe a lot, making nasal types impractical.

In combination with the Respironics CPAP, I've come to look forward to settling down for the night. After months of struggling with apnea, this feels like stepping out onto a porch to take a summer nap with ocean breezes blowing in my face.

Silly? NO, NOT SILLY! The Respironics humidifier conditions the air and makes it feel like a sea breeze. Who'd have thought it?

The fit to my trimmed beard is very good (nothing will be perfect). Adjustment is a little odd, since you cinch the four straps and then adjust the top knob to control tension/pitch to the plane of your face. It works and is easy to adjust at night.

Don't let the full face mask scare you. IT's very comfortable and if your currently using cpap or bipap then you know that there is a constant stream of air so you never feel smothered. My wife uses one of the nasal masks, and she likes it but can't use it when she stuffed up or has a cold. Full face masks also work if your mouth opens while you were sleeping. The cushioning on this mask works well and comfort is not really an issue. Cleaning this map is a snap, it comes apart easily, and just as importantly it easy to put back together. And lastly the adjustment knob in the center allows you to fine tune the adjustment of the mask my first mask didn't have this and wasn't as easy to deal with.
