a) Homedics is supplying Amazon with grossly defective items from a crappy warehouse. Shame on you Amazon and shame on Homemedics. They do not care what the condition of the items are inside the boxes. They just ship them out and collect your money.
b) Homedics has no customer support unless they are deliberately ignoring all my attempts to get this resolved. No replies. They don’t care!!!
3) Details
I purchased this item Jan 10th 2009 and received it a few days later. The box was not damaged but inside the item was not right. It was damaged/defective. It was not the shipper’s fault.
It looks like it was sitting in storage somewhere _forever_ and got moldy, wet, soiled, and dusty. The plastic packaging has breathing holes and where these holes are located, the item is stained a yellow and brownish colors as though someone blew smoke on it! It looks like dirty underwear. Like someone had diarhea on it! Furthermore, it seems to be a previous return item because I found several thick hairs on it either pubic or of a man with thick black hair! This is extremely unsanitary!
I placed an order over $100 for various items with Amazon. This was the least expensive item and the only one I had a problem with. This is how scammers get away with this.
4) Conclusion.
I shouldn’t have to make a trip to the post office to get this giant horror out of my life and I won’t. I can’t bare knowing it is in my home anymore even though I repacked it in the box. I’m going to throw this piece of disgusting garbage away and kissing my $ GOODBYE! Lesson learned: In the future I will go to a local Brookstone or Sharper Image where I can see, touch, and know exactly what I’m getting.

Recibà la almohada con la finalidad de utilizarla en mi carro, pero no es tan cómoda como pareciera. La he utilizado en los sillones y como almohada y me ha resultado cómoda, asà que después de todo no fue un desperdicio de dinero del todo. En lo que respecta al uso en el carro no la recomiendo.

This back support didn’t work for me or my mother in law, but it may work well for others. Not expensive a probably worth trying.
